King Zuba Confirmed as KMA Mayor with Overwhelming Vote

Richard Ofori Agyeman, also known as King Zuba, has been overwhelmingly confirmed as the new Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), garnering an impressive 55 out of 56 votes in his favor.
The vote, held at Miklin Hotel in Kumasi, reflects an overwhelming 98.2% support from assembly members, a clear indication of their confidence in his leadership.
King Zuba’s nomination was originally announced by President John Dramani Mahama, who highlighted his successful tenure as the former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Obuasi.
His unwavering loyalty to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and the Golden Stool has earned him widespread support from Manhyia Palace and respected chiefs across the Ashanti Region.
