The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) has assured President-elect John Dramani Mahama of its full support and prayers as he prepares to lead the nation once again.
Speaking during a courtesy visit, GPCC President Apostle Eric Nyamekye praised Mahama’s leadership experience and called on him to serve with integrity and prioritize the nation’s progress.
“We will stand by you, pray for you, and offer counsel to ensure that Ghana prospers under your leadership. Anytime you call, we’ll be here to discuss the development of our nation,” Apostle Nyamekye assured.
In response, Mahama expressed gratitude for their backing, acknowledging the challenges ahead. He emphasized that some of his decisions might be tough but would be aimed at securing Ghana’s future, likening them to “bitter medicine” necessary for the nation’s recovery.
