The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) is ramping up its tax mobilization efforts under the leadership of Brigadier General Zimbrim Bawah Ayarroga, the newly-appointed Commissioner of the Customs Division.

He has issued a clear warning: any staff members engaged in corrupt practices will face severe consequences.

His statements came during a media forum in Sunyani on October 24, following a three-day tour of the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions, where he interacted with staff, inspected facilities, and tackled operational challenges.

Highlighting the vital role of tax revenue in national development, he urged staff to adopt transparent practices that help traders and the business community meet their tax obligations.
