Dr. Dominic Ayine, Attorney General and Minister of Justice-designate, has reaffirmed his commitment to protecting Ghana’s interests in all international contracts and legal transactions.

During his vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Monday, January 13, 2025, he outlined plans to implement stringent measures to prevent public losses in such dealings.

Dr. Ayine emphasized his expertise in international arbitration, citing his extensive experience with the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). “I can assure the house that I am familiar with that tribunal and will ensure measures are in place to safeguard the public’s interest,” he assured the panel.

Additionally, Dr. Ayine defended the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration’s record, stating that no dubious judgment debts occurred under its tenure.
