The Accra Circuit Court has acquitted four more protesters affiliated with the Democracy Hub.

The state’s decision to withdraw the initial charges against Cedric Bansah, Emmanuel Offei, Nana Amo Mensah Prempeh, and Thomas Yeboah has paved the way for their release.

This brings the total number of discharged protesters to 11, following the release of seven individuals on October 22.

The ongoing court proceedings are centered around the events of the Democracy Hub demonstrations, which took place from September 21 to September 23, resulting in the arrest of 53 protesters.

As the legal process unfolds, it remains to be seen how the remaining cases will be resolved.
