The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to leverage its decisive victory in the December 7 general elections to drive Ghana’s development and prosperity.
Speaking at a press briefing on December 8 at the party’s headquarters, NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey emphasized the party’s commitment to responsible governance, assuring Ghanaians that their mandate will be used to serve the nation effectively.
He also urged the Electoral Commission (EC) and its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, to expedite the declaration of results, reiterating the party’s confidence in their overwhelming victory.
“We have secured a significant majority, which we intend to utilize responsibly for the progress of Ghana. The presidential results, we believe, are a done deal, and there’s no reason for any undue delay in their announcement,” Fifi Kwetey stated.
