A woman in her late 30s has allegedly taken her own life at Nerebehi in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region.
Eyewitness Yaw Amankwaa, who was passing through the area, recounted the chilling moment he spotted the body.
“I was just a stranger passing by when I saw something standing. I shouted ‘Jesus!’ because I thought it was god revealing itself,” he told Kwame Tanko on the Lawson TV/Radio‘s Ghana Se Sen show
According to him, upon discovery, he quickly alerted the former Chief of Nerebehi.
Yaw Amankwaa said the Police have since transported the body to the morgue, and have launched an investigation into the tragic incident.
