Dozens Survive Plane Crash in Kazakhstan

A passenger plane carrying 67 people crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau, resulting in 38 fatalities.   

Azerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8243, en route to Grozny, Russia, was diverted due to fog and attempted an emergency landing. The aircraft caught fire upon impact.   

Footage of the crash shows the plane descending rapidly before bursting into flames.

While dozens survived, the incident has resulted in significant loss of life. The families of the victims are now facing immense grief and uncertainty.   

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, with authorities recovering the plane’s black box.
