Independent presidential candidate Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has lauded Ghanaians for the calm and orderly conduct observed at polling stations nationwide during the 2024 General Election.

After casting his ballot at the Presby Polling Centre in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Alan Kyerematen encouraged citizens to embrace their democratic rights, emphasizing the significance of voter participation in shaping Ghana’s future.

“For those yet to vote, the message is clear: come out and make your voice heard. Voting is central to national development, and every vote counts,” he urged.

Accompanied by his wife, Patricia, Kyerematen reaffirmed his commitment to promoting unity, economic growth, and social progress through his political movement, the Movement for Change (M4C). Founded in September 2023, the M4C reflects his vision for a united and prosperous Ghana.

Alan Kyerematen’s distinguished career spans over four decades, including roles as Minister of Trade and Industry (2017–2023), Ambassador to the United States, and Trade Advisor at the United Nations. His leadership has garnered global recognition, including being named one of Time Magazine’s 100 global leaders for the new millennium in 1994.

As Ghanaians across 276 constituencies vote, with 18.8 million registered voters participating, Alan Kyerematen remains optimistic about the nation’s democratic progress and the potential for meaningful change through active civic engagement.
