The elections will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at regional coordinating councils across the regional capitals. Unlike public voting, the process is conducted through an Electoral College comprising two representatives nominated by each District Assembly.

In today’s exercise, 522 eligible voters are expected to cast their ballots. Winners will be announced at the respective voting centers once polls close.

The Council of State, a 30-member advisory body, plays a key role in guiding the President, Ministers, Parliament, and other public institutions toward responsible and accountable governance.
