World Bank Vice President to Visit Ghana, Meet with President-Elect Mahama

Ousmane Diagana, World Bank Vice President for Western and Central Africa, will be visiting Ghana from January 6 to 11, 2025.

During his visit, Mr. Diagana will attend the inauguration ceremony of President-Elect John Dramani Mahama and hold a meeting with the President to discuss the government’s vision and explore areas of collaboration with the World Bank Group.

Mr. Diagana will also visit key sites, including the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum, and the Kumasi Urban Mobility Accessibility Project (KUMAP) site in Kumasi.

The World Bank has a long-standing partnership with Ghana, with a current active portfolio of US$4.84 billion across various sectors, including finance, health, and urban development.
