A devastating robbery has claimed the life of Patricia Nimako, a young Mobile Money vendor in her late twenties, at Krofrom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The tragic incident occurred on the afternoon of Thursday, February 13, at Patricia’s mobile money shop.
According to reports, she was attending to her business when armed robbers stormed her shop, demanding an undisclosed amount of cash.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the perpetrators, who arrived on a motorbike, initially pretended to be customers. Moments later, they shot Patricia and fled with the money, leaving behind a scene of shock and grief.
This incident has left the community in mourning as residents call for swift justice and enhanced security measures to protect small business owners from such heinous acts.
