Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has underscored the party’s significant achievements in implementing transformative social interventions in Ghana.
During a campaign event in Akyem Wenchi, Eastern Region, Dr. Prempeh highlighted the NPP’s leading role in enacting policies that have positively affected millions of Ghanaians.
Among the key initiatives he cited are free maternal healthcare, the National Health Insurance Scheme, the Free Senior High School Policy, Free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and the School Feeding Programme.
Dr. Prempeh pointed out that while both the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have governed for 16 years each over the past 32 years, the NPP’s accomplishments are notably greater.
He encouraged the public to reflect on the NPP’s track record and cautioned against supporting the NDC, asserting that the NPP is best equipped to continue serving the nation’s needs.
He emphasized that the NPP’s dedication to social interventions is a fundamental aspect of their governance, aimed at enhancing the lives of Ghanaians and fostering national development.
As the nation approaches elections, Dr. Prempeh’s remarks highlight the NPP’s confidence in their policy successes.
