After nearly three decades of searching, Madam Christiana Mensah finally found the family of the man who fathered her child — only to discover he had passed away two years ago.

The emotional revelation came through Lawson TV/Radio Afisem, where Madam Mensah had shared her story in hopes of reconnecting her daughter with her long-lost father.

Speaking to host Maame Frimponmaa Korankye (MFK), she recounted meeting Augustine Dati in Accra in the 1980s.

The two shared a brief relationship that resulted in the birth of a daughter. Dati visited once to name the child — and then vanished from her life completely.

For 26 years, Madam Mensah said she knew nothing about his whereabouts or his family. Determined to bridge the gap for her daughter’s sake, she turned to Afisem for help.

The breakthrough came when a caller phoned in, identifying himself as Augustine Dati’s brother.

Sadly, he delivered heartbreaking news: Augustine had died two years earlier.

Despite the grief, he extended an invitation for Madam Mensah and her daughter to visit the family in Ho, bringing long-awaited closure and connection.
