Angry youth stormed the office in the Ho Housing area, damaging party property and burning essential items, including documents, plastic chairs, and tables. The protest intensified as they blocked the main road with burning tires, creating chaos in the area.
The Ghana National Fire Service quickly intervened to put out the fire and minimize further damage.
In response, Deputy Constituency Secretary, Mr. Theophilus Adzanku, condemned the destruction, calling it unprofessional and unnecessary.
He explained that President Mahama is still in the process of making appointments and urged the youth to seek clarification from party executives rather than resorting to violence.
Mr. Adzanku distanced the party executives from the incident and appealed for calm among party members and supporters, assuring that the perpetrators would be identified and justice pursued. He urged patience as the President finalizes his appointments.
