“Mahama’s Insults Are a Recipe for His Sweet Defeat” – Adomako Baafi
NPP's Former Communications Director Critiques Mahama's Negative Campaign Tactics
- Mahama focuses on insults rather than presenting viable policies to Ghanaians
- Other NDC leaders join Mahama in personal attacks
- Adomako Baafi emphasizes the NPP's ability to identify problems and offer solutions
A former Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi, has launched a strong critique of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate John Mahama.
Instead of focusing on campaign policies, Adomako Baafi argueed that Mahama is fixated on hurling insults at NPP leaders like Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and President Akufo-Addo.
In an interview on Lawson TV/Radio’s Ghana Se Sen, Adomako Baafi stated that Mahama’s lack of a constructive message for Ghanaians, combined with his personal attacks on NPP members, sets the stage for a resounding defeat.
He emphasized, “The direction Mahama is heading guarantees a sweet loss for him. As someone experienced in communication, he should choose his words wisely.”
He also pointed out that Mahama isn’t alone in this negativity; NDC figures such as General Secretary Asiedu Nketiah and founding member Kofi Totobi Quakyi have joined in the insults.
He warned that the NDC’s hostile rhetoric could escalate tensions and advised voters to choose a party that promotes peace.
Highlighting the NPP’s achievements, Adomako Baafi asserted that while the ruling party identifies challenges and offers solutions, the NDC merely complains about problems without providing constructive alternatives.
