Dennis Miracle Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, proudly announced that President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia have successfully completed 16,000 projects across the country since taking office.
According to Miracle Aboagye, out of the 16,000 projects, the party’s stronghold, the Ashanti Region, has seen 3,354 projects completed under the government of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia.
During an appearance on Lawson TV/Radio’s Ghana Se Sen Morning Show, Miracles Aboagye detailed that these projects encompass various sectors, including health, roads, education, and sanitation, all backed by tangible evidence.
He shared that the government has constructed 12,000 kilometers of roads nationwide, with Ashanti Region alone benefitting from 270 kilometers across 276 different road types.
He contrasted this with the previous NDC administration, which reportedly completed only 4,000 kilometers of roads.
On healthcare, Miracles Aboagye highlighted that President Akufo-Addo initiated 47 hospitals, all of which are now completed, in addition to 17 ongoing projects distinct from the Agenda 111 initiative.
He pointed out that the NDC, under former President John Mahama, inherited six hospital projects from former President John Agyekum Kufuor but failed to complete any.
The NDC in the Ashanti Region inherited the Sawua Hospital, Bekwai Hospital, Afari Military Hospital, Fomena Hospital, Konongo Hospital, and the 800-bed KNUST Teaching Hospital, but did not complete a single one,” he said
He said the NPP inherited eight uncompleted hospitals but has managed to finish six.
Miracles Aboagye challenged former President John Mahama to name a single project he initiated and completed during his tenure, aside from the Dodowa Hospital.
