President John Mahama is set to present his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) in the coming days, following the formation of his Cabinet on Thursday, February 20.

The much-anticipated address, in line with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, will provide a candid evaluation of Ghana’s economic landscape and outline the administration’s strategic roadmap for national development.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State in charge of government communications, confirmed the upcoming address but did not specify the exact date.

Meanwhile, a high-level Cabinet meeting tackled pressing national issues, including security, economic challenges, and the 24-hour economy initiative.
