The Ashanti Heritage Front (AHF) has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of instigating a feud between the Techiman and Manhyia communities.
The group believes that the NDC is exploiting tribal sentiments to gain political advantage.
In a recent press release, AHF Chief Convener Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah expressed concern over the rising tensions between the two communities, citing incidents such as the attack on the Asantehene’s convoy in Techiman.
He alleged that these actions are orchestrated by the NDC to sow discord and undermine the peace and unity of the nation.
Amankwah condemned the attacks and urged the NDC to refrain from using divisive tactics.
He emphasized the importance of peaceful elections and called for unity among all Ghanaians.
The AHF is urging the public to be vigilant and not fall prey to the NDC’s divisive agenda.
