Adum Fire Aftermath: Minister Unveils Plan for Safer, Accessible Roads

Security deployment and new vehicular routes to enhance safety and prevent future incidents

In the wake of the devastating fire at Adum Blue Light on March 21, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene has announced a new initiative to improve vehicular access and curb unauthorized activities in the nearby Adum PZ area, which was unaffected by the blaze.

A statement from the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) on March 23 outlined the plan, which aims to enhance accessibility and minimize fire risks linked to human activities.

To facilitate the process, security personnel will be deployed, and residents are urged to comply with the new directives.

The initiative, set to begin on March 24, is part of broader efforts to safeguard businesses and communities from future fire outbreaks.
