Charles Oppong, a 45-year-old taxi driver from Akyem Oda Old Town in the Eastern Region, has been tragically discovered dead.
His body was found in an unfinished building at Akyem Swedru Royal Mount Calvary, with his hands and legs tied.
According to reports, Charles left for work on the evening of Monday, October 21, 2024, but never returned home. His family began searching for him, but their efforts were in vain.
On Friday, October 25, local residents alerted the Akyem Swedru Police about a body in the building. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the deceased was Charles Oppong, who was known as a kind and dependable person in the community. He was a married father of three.
His family is now calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
