A 25-year-old man, Kwame Asamoah, known as Kwame Ketewa, was fatally shot by an unidentified assailant while returning from his farm in Akyem Dokyi-Tetekasom, near Akyem Takyiman, Eastern Region.

According to Adom News, Kwame left his home on Monday morning to gather palm fruits for his father. Esther Adumea, a neighboring farmer, shared that while preparing to transport her produce, she heard a gunshot. Fearing for her safety, she and her son stayed on the farm for a while.

When they finally decided to return, they discovered Kwame’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood, with the suspect having fled the scene.

The body was taken to the Kade Government Hospital, and Chief Inspector Godsway of Akyem Takyiman police station confirmed that an investigation is underway to apprehend the killer.
