The Auditor-General has initiated a wide-reaching payroll audit across all entities within the Controller and Accountant-General’s payroll system, including subvented organizations.
This audit will focus on the payroll records of Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), and other subvented bodies, covering the period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024.
A comprehensive headcount of all government-paid employees will also be conducted during this process.
