On Wednesday morning, MTN Ghana visited various locations in Kumasi, including the Kumasi Secondary Technical School (KSTS) and Kumasi Anglican Senior High School (KASS) at Patasi and Amakom.

During the visit to KSTS, Mr. Vincent Jumpah, a Science and Computer Teacher and program instructor, highlighted the critical importance of training girls in ICT.

Mr. Jumpah explained that 18 schools and a total of 18 students from JHS 2 and Primary 4 and 5 within the Nhyiaeso Constituency are participating in this training program, which aims to equip them with essential ICT skills.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to create animated stories, design websites, and develop simple games such as “Fallen Apple” and “Hide and Seek.”

Although some trainees faced initial challenges with computer handling, they quickly adapted and mastered the basics.
