The much-anticipated Feed Ghana Programme (FGP) will officially be launched by President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Originally scheduled for April 11, the launch date was pushed back to allow for other important government activities.

The event will take place at the Methodist School Park in Techiman, Bono East Region.

Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, John Setor Dumelo, made the announcement on social media on April 8, highlighting the significance of this transformative initiative.

The Feed Ghana Programme is set to revolutionize the agricultural sector, tackling food security issues and boosting productivity nationwide.

The launch event will gather key stakeholders, including policymakers, farmers, and development partners, as the government underscores its commitment to reshaping Ghana’s agricultural future.
