The protesters delivered petitions to the presidency, Parliament, and the Judicial Service.

In addressing the crowd, Mr. Dogbe reiterated that the current government upholds the right to assemble, and President Mahama has consistently supported peaceful demonstrations. He encouraged all citizens to exercise their freedoms within the framework of the law.

“President Mahama has always been a strong advocate for the people’s right to peaceful protest, and this stance will not change,” he emphasized.

Concluding his remarks, Mr. Dogbe urged for mutual respect between demonstrators and state institutions, calling for orderly protests and the protection of public property. In return, he assured that the government is committed to ensuring the safety of demonstrators and safeguarding their rights.
