President John Dramani Mahama has announced the nomination of 13 individuals for deputy ministerial roles, adding to his team of appointees.
Among the notable nominees are legal expert Justice Srem Sai, set to serve as Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice, and Ayawaso West Wuogon MP and farmer John Dumelo, who has been tapped as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture.
Other key nominations include Asuogyaman MP Thomas Nyarko Ampem as Minister of Finance-designate and Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, MP for Builsa South, as Deputy Minister of Education.
Tempane MP Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba has also been selected as Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms.
With these nominations, the total number of appointees under President Mahama now stands at 56, leaving four ministerial roles yet to be filled to meet his pledge of a 60-member ministerial team.
