The government has assured citizens that it has secured sufficient fuel to sustain power generation and prevent widespread outages, commonly known as dumsor.
Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, February 20, Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, acknowledged reports of recent power cuts but emphasized that proactive measures are in place to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply.
He noted that Energy Minister John Jinapor is actively monitoring the situation and will engage the public in the coming days to provide updates and address concerns.
“The government has secured an adequate fuel supply. However, it is important to continuously engage the public and address any concerns about the power situation,” Kwakye Ofosu stated.
