Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Manhyia South, has appealed to Ghanaians to forgive any mistakes made by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December elections.
Speaking on Lawson TV/Radio’s Ghana Se Sen Morning Show, he highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s achievements as Vice President, emphasizing his intelligence, vision, and innovative policies.
“Bawumia has demonstrated leadership by introducing impactful policies that have transformed lives, unlike John Mahama, who failed to deliver during his presidency,” he noted.
Lawyer Baffour Awuah criticized former President John Mahama for his handling of Ghana’s energy crisis, popularly known as “dumsor,” claiming it lasted for four years due to a lack of urgency.
He also questioned Mahama’s track record, pointing out his involvement in corruption investigations and his inability to garner significant electoral support even within his own party.
“The country cannot afford to return to the failures of Mahama’s leadership. Let us give Bawumia the opportunity to lead and take Ghana to greater heights,” he urged.
