The Electoral Commission (EC) will commence its online exhibition of the provisional voters’ register today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, running through Saturday, October 19, 2024.

In an official statement, the EC urged voters to verify their details using the shortcode 71151#, at no cost.

This initiative is part of the Commission’s efforts to refine the voters’ register ahead of the final compilation for the 2024 General Election.

The online exhibition provides voters with the opportunity to review their information and report any discrepancies for correction by the Commission.

“Voters can also check their details on our website: https://ec.gov.gh. Simply click on the pop-up link in the bottom-right corner of the screen and enter your 10-digit Voter ID number to access your registration details,” the EC stated.

Any discrepancies identified should be reported to the District Office where the voter is registered for necessary corrections.

The Commission clarified that while voters may continue to verify their details online after the exhibition period ends, they will not be able to request corrections post-exhibition.

Political parties are also encouraged to submit any discrepancies they identify during the exhibition period using the template provided by the Commission.
