A gruesome incident has rocked the Ejisu Municipality in Ghana as a 20-year-old man, Samuel Obeng, confessed to killing his 8-year-old brother, Messiah Akomeah.
According to the suspect’s mother, Maame Atta, Samuel claimed that a deity in their home had instructed him to commit the murder, promising to resurrect the young boy.
The tragic event unfolded when Maame Atta left Messiah in Samuel’s care while she went to the market.
Upon returning, she found her younger son brutally murdered. Samuel had been struggling with mental health issues for several months and had allegedly been chosen by a family deity to become a fetish priest.
