The Electoral Commission (EC) has provided an updated tally of the 2024 presidential election results, now including eight more constituencies.
One constituency remains outstanding.
This update revises the initial announcement made on December 9, 2024, which was based on results from 267 out of 276 constituencies.
The official results include the total valid votes, rejected ballots, and total votes cast.
President John Dramani Mahama continues to lead with a commanding victory, surpassing his closest rival, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who secured 4,877,611 votes.
Among smaller party candidates, Nana Kwame Bediako, known as Cheddar and representing The New Force movement, garnered 88,944 votes, amounting to 0.76% of the total.
