President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged global leaders to stop the rhetoric and take decisive, real-world action to tackle the climate crisis.
Addressing the World Climate Leaders Summit at COP29 in Azerbaijan on November 13, he stressed the urgent need for meaningful solutions to protect vulnerable communities from the escalating dangers of climate change.
Akufo-Addo warned that with time running out, swift and effective measures are crucial to safeguarding both human lives and the planet’s ecosystems.
He called for a shift from discussion to action, stating that COP29 must be a turning point in climate policy.
