Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s Campaign Team, has declared the NPP’s 2024 Presidential Candidate as the ideal leader to secure the party’s future success.
Speaking in an interview Miracles Aboagye confidently stated that Dr. Bawumia’s innovative leadership qualities and vision are essential for Ghana’s progress and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) growth.
“Anytime Dr. Bawumia decides to run, I’m confident the party will rally behind him,” Aboagye said, emphasizing Bawumia’s track record of resilience, innovation, and leadership.
Despite losing as a running mate in 2008 and 2012, Bawumia led a triumphant comeback in 2016, demonstrating his ability to overcome challenges—a quality Miracles Aboagye believes is crucial as the party looks to 2028.
Meanwhile, the December 2024 polls saw John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) secure a decisive victory, garnering 56.55% of valid votes cast. His win solidified the NDC’s dominance, with over 180 parliamentary seats secured, leaving the NPP reflecting on its next steps under Bawumia’s leadership.
