President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed deep gratitude to the Ashanti Region, attributing his successful presidential journey to the overwhelming support from the region.
During a visit to the Manhyia Palace on November 26 as part of his “Thank You” tour, the President acknowledged Ashanti as the backbone of his political success and governance.
Accompanied by key officials, including the Ashanti Regional Minister and NPP leaders, he extended special thanks to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the people of Ashanti for their unwavering backing.
The region, a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party, delivered significant votes in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, securing his presidency.
