President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has paid a heartfelt tribute to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, acknowledging his vital role in national development and peacebuilding.
During a courtesy visit to Manhyia Palace, the President praised Otumfuo’s transformative leadership and unwavering support for Ghana’s stability.
He reflected on his journey to the presidency, crediting the Asante King’s guidance for inspiring him and other leaders to prioritize unity.
As he approaches the end of his tenure, President Akufo-Addo expressed gratitude to the chiefs and people of Ghana for their trust over the past eight years. Highlighting the Ashanti Region’s development under his administration, he urged continued support for peace and progress, particularly with the upcoming December 7 elections.
In response, Otumfuo Osei Tutu commended the President for his service to Ghana, emphasizing the importance of sustained collaboration for national growth.
