The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has strongly criticised the Akufo-Addo administration for Ghana’s current economic challenges, declaring that the nation stands at a critical juncture requiring immediate action.
At a press conference held in Accra on November 19, the NDC’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, accused the government of economic mismanagement, resulting in widespread hardship and a declining standard of living.
“Our beloved nation is at a crossroads and needs an urgent reset. The Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has failed to deliver on nearly all their flagship promises, leaving Ghana’s economy in shambles,” Gyamfi stated.
He called for a return to stable leadership, highlighting the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, as the solution to steer the nation towards recovery.
“Ghana requires the experienced and steady leadership of H.E. John Dramani Mahama. His proven track record in economic management and transformational vision is exactly what we need to navigate this crisis,” Gyamfi said.
Confident in the upcoming December elections, the NDC believes Ghanaians will opt for change by choosing John Mahama over what Gyamfi described as “the dangerous experiment” of the current administration.
