(VIDEO) President Akufo-Addo Votes in His Kyebi Hometown

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo cast his vote at a polling station in his hometown of Kyebi, Eastern Region, as part of the ongoing Presidential and Parliamentary elections

Accompanied by his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the President participated in the early voting, reinforcing his commitment to Ghana’s democratic process.

After casting his ballot, President Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in the integrity of the electoral system and called on Ghanaians to engage peacefully in the elections.

He stressed the importance of unity and adherence to the rule of law throughout the electoral process.

“This election is crucial for the future of our country, and it is important that every eligible voter exercises their right to vote,” the President remarked. “I urge all citizens to remain calm and trust that the outcome will reflect the will of the people.”

The President’s participation in the election was widely covered by the media and was seen as a reaffirmation of his dedication to Ghana’s democratic values, particularly as he steps down after completing his two-term presidency.
