Starting December 3, 2024, travelers can fly directly between London Gatwick and Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport, thanks to a partnership between Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) and Ethiopian Airlines.
This new route promises greater convenience for passengers, fostering connectivity between Europe and Ghana’s Ashanti Region—a vibrant center of cultural heritage and economic activity.
The inaugural flight from Kumasi is set for December 15, 2024, perfectly timed for the Christmas season. Travelers can look forward to a seamless journey to explore Ghana’s rich traditions and enjoy festive celebrations in the Ashanti Region.
