Almost Half a Million Students Secure SHS and TVET Placement
- 563,339 results submitted, with 553,155 qualifying for placement
- 447,698 students received automatic admissions to their chosen schools
- Unplaced students can utilize the Self-Placement platform or contact helplines for assistance
The Ministry of Education has announced the much-anticipated placement results for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions for the 2024/25 academic year.
Nearly 81% (447,698) of qualified students secured automatic admissions to one of their school choices, based on their performance in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exams.
However, for over 100,000 students, their initial school preferences couldn’t be accommodated. These students are encouraged to utilize the Self-Placement platform to find a suitable alternative.
How to Check Your Placement:
Visit the official CSSPS website (https://ges.gov.gh/2023/02/04/computerised-schools-selection-and-placement-systemcssps-2023-text-for-confirmation-of-students-school-choices/ or https://csspsverify.com/) and enter your 10-digit index number followed by the year of completion (e.g., 123456789024 for 2024). Click “Submit” and view your placement result.
