Akwasi Addai Odike, founder of the Union Government political movement, has sharply criticized former President John Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer for the upcoming December elections,.claiming he has no vision for Ghana.
Odike described Mahama as “empty,” saying that he lacks the necessary leadership to lift the nation from the economic challenges created by the NPP.
Speaking on Lawson TV/Radio Ghana Se Sen Morning Show, Odike emphasized that Mahama does not embody the change Ghana requires.
He dismissed Mahama’s proposed policies, such as the 24-hour economy initiative, as mere “noise.”
Odike also noted that Mahama has failed to acknowledge the contributions of the late President John Evans Atta Mills during their time in office.
“Mahama has never mentioned Atta Mills’ name in his campaign. Mahama only did the Kotoka International Airport Terminal 3, and even during the commissioning I attended, it was not done as it should have been,” he told Kwame Tanko
Odike expressed frustration with the current NPP-NDC political landscape, urging Ghanaians to reconsider their voting choices and support Alan Kyerematen for true change.
“Ghanaians are sick and tired of the NPP-NDC duopoly. If Ghana wants change, they should change their voting pattern and vote for Alan Kyerematen.”
