Tensions escalated further when fans threw objects onto the pitch, briefly disrupting the game and sparking concerns over potential sanctions.
Despite the chaos, play resumed, and Nsoatreman found the breakthrough in the 76th minute to claim all three points.
Asante Kotoko later revealed on their X handle that their media team’s laptop and camera were destroyed by Nsoatreman fans.
