NDC Taskforce Uncovers 3,000 Bags of Hidden Fertilizers in Asante Akyem Agogo Warehouse

The NDC taskforce in the Ashanti region has seized over 3,000 bags of fertilizer allegedly hoarded by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a warehouse in Asante Akyem Agogo, located within the Asante Akyem North Municipality.
According to Nana Prempeh Amankwah, the leader of the taskforce, the seizure is part of their ongoing Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative in the region. He stated that the fertilizers were meant for farmers but were found hidden after receiving a tip-off.
The seized fertilizers have been safely transferred to the Municipal Assembly office for secure storage. Nana Prempeh also mentioned that while the police have launched an investigation into the matter, the NDC will ensure the fertilizers remain under tight security until the next government assumes office.
