The Ashanti Regional Minister has confidently stated that the region’s security is fully prepared for the upcoming elections, reassuring residents that they can rest easy.

He urged citizens to avoid causing disruptions during the electoral process, highlighting that the December elections are an opportunity to express their opinions.
Hon. Osei-Mensah praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for their significant development initiatives in the Ashanti Region since 2017.
He pointed to improvements in roads, healthcare, and security, noting that the current administration has built more courts than any previous government since independence.
Additionally, he said the NPP has constructed 69 Astro turfs and numerous interchanges across the region.
Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah remarked that both the NPP and NDC have had 16 years in power, stressing that the upcoming elections should focus on their accomplishments.
