Highlighting Infrastructure and Security Advances as the Region Prepares for Elections

Story Highlights
  • The NPP has undertaken major infrastructure projects
  • A total of 69 Astro turfs and multiple interchanges have been built
  • The Ashanti Regional Minister assures the public of robust security for the upcoming elections

Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, asserts that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made significant strides in the Ashanti Region under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia since 2017.

He highlights advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, and security, noting that the NPP has built more courts than any government since Ghana’s independence.

During the second day of the ‘Ghana Se Sen’ Morning Show hosted by Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV and Radio 96.3 MHz, Hon. Osei-Mensah pointed out that the NPP has also constructed 69 Astro turfs and numerous interchanges throughout the region.

He emphasized that both the NPP and NDC have held power for 16 years, and the upcoming elections are an opportunity for voters to evaluate their contributions.

Hon. Osei-Mensah expressed confidence that if the people of Ashanti recognize the developments achieved under the NPP, an 80% vote in their favor would still be modest.

He assured the public that security measures are in place for the elections and urged citizens to avoid any disruption during the process.
