Michael Amoah Awuku, the Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Atwima Nwabiagya South, has confidently predicted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will lose the upcoming December 7 elections, signaling the party’s eventual collapse within the next decade.
In an interview on Lawson TV/Radio Ghana ‘Se Se Sen’ Morning Show, Amoah Awuku stated that the NDC thrives on misinformation and propaganda, stressing that the upcoming election will be decided by key issues like the economy and infrastructure, not just basic needs.
“The NDC will lose again, and in 10 years, they will no longer be relevant. Ghanaians are more informed now, and by then, they won’t fall for the NDC’s lies.”
Amoah Awuku also criticized the NDC for failing to complete any major projects in the Ashanti Region, asking the party to name a single completed project.
He specifically called out the NDC for leaving the Kejetia Market unfinished
“The NDC did not complete the Kejetia Market. The NPP has since completed the projects that the NDC initiated and has started and completed several new projects,” he told Kwame Tanko.
Amoah Awuku also accused the NDC of attempting to undermine the election by raising suspicions of rigging to suppress votes in the Ashanti Region.
“You are a responsible party, and you speak for the party, so the leaders of the NDC should know what Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Director, was about to say to the press,” he said.
