President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to grant Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the mandate in the upcoming elections to build upon the significant achievements of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) administration over the years.

During a durbar in Damongo as part of his tour of the Savannah Region, the President emphasized the progress made in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic reforms under the NPP.

He asserted that Dr. Bawumia, a pivotal figure in the government, is well-positioned to further these successes.

“Dr. Bawumia has been instrumental in shaping the policies that have transformed our country. He is the right person to consolidate the gains made by the NPP and lead Ghana to even greater heights,” he stated.

The President’s visit aimed to express gratitude to the people of the Savannah Region for their support and to rally support for the NPP presidential candidate.

Akufo-Addo praised Dr. Bawumia’s contributions, highlighting his understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead. “He has the vision to continue the NPP legacy of development, stability, and growth,” he said.

With confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s capabilities, having worked closely with him for the past 16 years, the President remarked, “Dr. Bawumia has good ideas for the growth and development of the country.”

He concluded by noting the substantial development witnessed in the Savannah Region since its establishment and urged the electorate to give the NPP another term to continue delivering progress for the people.
