The Ghana Health Service has intensified awareness campaigns and is collaborating with local health facilities to ensure preparedness for further cases.
Dr. Dennis Laryea, Deputy Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, reassured the public that all contacts are being monitored.
“The situation in Western North has been contained. The recent case in Greater Accra has been thoroughly investigated, and so far, no additional cases have been confirmed among contacts, but we continue to monitor for any developments,” he explained.
