Mahama Pushes for Speedy Justice in Ahmed Suale’s Murder Case
President urges authorities to expedite investigations and prosecutions in high-profile murder cases, including that of journalist Ahmed Suale and MP JB Danquah.

President John Dramani Mahama has called for an immediate and thorough interrogation of the suspect linked to the killing of Tiger Eye PI member Ahmed Suale.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by Ghana Bar Association leader Efua Ghartey on March 26, 2025, Mahama stressed that a swift and detailed probe into the suspect, Daniel Owusu Koranteng— a former associate of the late journalist—could lead to more arrests and bring long-awaited justice.
Reaffirming his commitment to human rights, the President also urged authorities to fast-track prosecutions in other high-profile cases, including the murder of JB Danquah.
“We need to expedite investigations into major unresolved killings. The arrest of the first suspect in Suale’s case is a step forward, and we hope it leads to more breakthroughs,” Mahama stated.
