Kumasi Asante Kotoko Head Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, believes that forward Albert Amoah, despite his impressive tally of four goals in seven matches this season, has the potential to contribute even more to the team.
This assessment came after Amoah scored for the third consecutive game in Kotoko’s 1-1 draw against league newcomers Basake Holy Stars at Ayinase.
In the 35th minute, Amoah picked up a pass just inside Holy Stars’ half, showcasing his skill and speed to evade a defender.
His attempted cross, which turned into a shot, found the back of the net. However, his goal was ultimately canceled out by Prince Tweneboah in the 82nd minute.
Following the match, Dr. Ogum praised Amoah’s performance but emphasized the need for further development. “He’s done well, but considering his energy and game intelligence, I believe there’s much more he can offer this team. I want to congratulate him and encourage him to continue improving,” he stated.
